The inaugural event involved coastal quads, doubles & singles around Rabbit Island and was held in November 2025 with four Top-of-the-South Clubs participating.
The event started from the front beach of Moturoa, around the NW end past Mapua and down through the channel between Rough & Rabbit Islands, past Bell Island and along the northern beach on Rabbit Island to where the start line had become the finish line.
Each entry had two boats and the combined total of points awarded to both boats goes toward the winner of The Rabbit Rampage Trophy.
We intend to make this an Annual Event on our Calendar.
